Breaking Out of Our Material Prisons

In Living on August 10, 2010 at 3:11 pm

No one was born wanting a handbag by any name! The love of things is connected to our ego, our sense of entitlement, our desire for legacy and affirmation and our personal power. Yet, in the zen of living, the more we let go, the more we are given! The gifts received take on a different character. We undergo experiences more in touch with an inner truth. A silent joy guides our heart and memory.

The jettisoning of stuff does more than just create new material options or personal freedoms. It changes our spiritual footprint; we walk along a different path. The elimination of credit card debt is an achievement. But it opens up many doors to riches beyond silver or gold.
